Questions & Answers
What materials are your tags available in?
We work with stainless steel, aluminum (including anodized), brass, lamacoid plastic (2-ply and 2-ply), nylon, polyester, and vinyl. If you need a specific material grade — such as 316L stainless or a specific alloy — just tell us and we’ll confirm availability.
What is the minimum order quantity?
There is no strict minimum for most products. However, very small runs (1–5 tags) may have a minimum shop charge depending on the material and complexity. We’re happy to quote any quantity — just ask.
How long does production take?
Most standard orders are completed within 3–5 business days after you approve the quote. Rush turnaround is often possible — contact us to discuss your deadline. Large or complex orders may take longer and we’ll be upfront about lead time.
Can I get a sample before my full order?
Yes. Call or text us at (705) 622-9785 to discuss sample options. For large orders, we recommend a sample run to confirm the engraving looks exactly as expected before we produce the full quantity.
Do you offer sequential numbering?
Yes. We can produce any sequential numbering format — specify your start number, end number, prefix, suffix, and zero-padding (e.g. CT-001 through CT-500). This is included in the base price of the tags.
Can you drill holes in the tags?
Yes. Holes are drilled to your specification — you choose the count, diameter, and position. For lamacoids this includes four-corner holes, two-end holes, centre holes, and push-button cutouts. For valve tags the standard is one 3/16″ hole at the top for a beaded chain.
Do you include beaded chains with valve tags?
We offer 4.5″ beaded chains as an add-on for valve tags. Let us know when you request your quote and we’ll include them.
What file formats do you accept for logos or graphics?
We accept PDF, PNG, JPG, DXF, and DWG. For best results, submit vector files (PDF or DXF). If you only have a raster image, we’ll do our best to clean it up — but vector is always preferred for sharp engraving.
How do I pay?
Payment options include E-Transfer, Direct Deposit, and Cheque. Net 15 & Net 30 terms are available for approved business accounts. No payment is required until you have approved the quote. HST (13%) applies to all orders. Our HST registration number is 713132769 RT0001.
Can you help meet Indigenous procurement requirements?
Yes. We are 100% Indigenous-owned, CCIB certified, and registered on the Federal Government of Canada’s Indigenous Business Registry. Our invoices can be used to support Indigenous procurement reporting.
Do you ship outside Sudbury?
Yes. We’re based in Garson (Greater Sudbury) but we ship across Northern Ontario and Canada. Shipping cost will be included in your quote.
What if I don’t know exactly what I need?
That’s fine — it happens often. Just describe your application, environment, and what the tag needs to do. We’ll ask the right questions and recommend the best material, size, and fastening method for your situation. Call us at (705) 622-9785 or use the quote form.
